Keep domain but delete wordpress

  I’d like to delete my main wordpress page and transfer the domain to a site supported by a different system.

  How can I do that? Is it easier to just delete wordpress entirely and than register some place else? And if so how can I do that, I haven’t found the answer anywhere yet…

  Hi there. Don’t delete the WordPress.com site. You can set it to private once you’re done moving everything: http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/

  You might also want to look at the Site Redirect upgrade. With that upgrade, if anyone visits your WordPress.com site via a link in their browser or on another blog, they’ll be automatically sent to the new site: https://en.support.wordpress.com/site-redirect/
