keep featured image from showing at top of posts

  I’m using the Cubic theme on WordPress.com, and I want to stop the featured image from showing at the top of each post. I need to set featured images for each post because otherwise the collage of square photos on the home page turns out wrong. But doing so really messes up the look of the posts themselves.

  I’ve just been browsing your site and I personally feel like it looks just fine the way it is, very informative. What seems to be the problem?

  The one thing I did notice was that some of the images (like Robert Peary) show up as full-frame in the post detail, where others (like Cobblestones) are just an image in the page itself. Is this what you are trying to accomplish, to get everything to work uniformly?
