keep getting blog pages

  Trying to setup a personalized web page for a portfolio. It seems I keep getting Blog pages insted.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  make a static page and select your home page as static page by going to settings>reading>a static page and select your portfolio page
