Keep getting 'You do not own identity' when trying to comment elsewhere

I have seen this problem listed elsewhere, but I confess that even though I did try to follow a lot of what was written, most details went over my head and I am no closer to rectifying the issue.

Whenever I try to comment on a blog (such as Blogger), I get the error message ‘You do not own this identity’. I have been logged in to my account before commenting and then added my login details.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

Theres’ nothing you can do, I’m afraid. Blogger just does not accept WordPress.com identities sometimes. If the blog owner has provided the option, use the Name/URL option to comment.

    Thanks Raincoaster.

I have just had a jiggle about. It was a problem with my login details. Thanks for your answer. I think it might be sorted now, fingers crossed.

Good luck. I do better when I used the uncustomized domain raincoaster.wordpress.com instead of raincoaster.com but your mileage may vary.
