Keep my site but clear it and start over

  I would like to clear out all of my entries and start over. I now realize that what I wanted to create was Pages, not Posts

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I’m trying to create a “static” website, not a blog. I’ve created several “posts”, which I’d like to delete and just start over, with nothing but a name and url. I don’t know how to do this. Thank you for your help.

  You have two options for emptying blog content and retaining the blog URL.

  option 1
  Provided you are logged in as Admin under the exact same username account that registered the blog, you can quickly remove your contents by deleting them in bulk.

  IMPORTANT NOTE: Deleting blog content does not remove it from the SERPs (search engine page results). Google and Bing only clear their caches of deleted indexed content that produces a 404 (page not found) every 3 – 6 months. To completely remove an entire page from Google search results: https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/1663419?hl=en

  option 2
  If you have lots of content and are willing to wait, Staff can empty the whole blog for you. That will remove all data including posts, pages, tags, categories, comments, and uploaded files and once deleted, the data cannot be recovered.

  If you are sure you want Staff to proceed, then type modlook into the tags in the sidebar for Staff attention and post again to this thread to:

  (1) confirm the URL of the blog you want them to empty;
  (2) confirm that you know content deletion is irreversible.
