Keep on getting 'Please confirm your email address' message in the dashboard
-
Hello,
I am trying to setup a blog. The trouble is, WordPress does not seem to be able to confirm my email address. I am constantly getting a ‘Please confirm your email address’ message at the top of the dashboard. When I request that a confirmation email be re-sent, I do receive the confirmation email. I do ‘Confirm Now’ each time and yet as soon as I get back to dashboard, I get a new ‘Please confirm your email address’ message. Consequently, I my posts / pages / etc are saved as drafts.
Can someone help?
Thanks,
A.

Hi there,
Sorry about this! I’ve just fixed it for you and you should be all set now. Try publishing a post or page again and let me know if you have any problems.

Hi – I am having this exact same issue (I’ve confirmed over 20 times), my blog is:
http://auraionline.wordpress.com
Also – I’m hoping to see if I can transition to the Premium plan, but can’t seem to find an answer to whether the paid themes are premium themes only available under the Business plan, or if those work for the Premium plan as well.

Hi Adam,
I’ve fixed this for you too. Sorry about that!
In answer to your question about Premium themes, these are not included with the Premium plan. Unlimited Premium themes are a feature of the Business plan only. But we have lots of free themes:
https://theme.wordpress.com/themes/sort/free/
You can also purchase a Premium theme at any time and these are a once-off purchase rather than a yearly subscription.

Excellent – thank you so much for fixing it, and answering my question about the premium themes!!
