Keep 'Request a Demo' Button from Changing colors after it's been clicked on

    Hi there,
    How can I keep my ‘request a demo’ and ‘learn more’ buttons from changing colors once I have clicked on the buttons? Initially the buttons appear a bright white color, however once I click on them and a cookie is applied letting the site know I’ve already clicked the button, they appear a grayed out color. It is difficult to see with my picture background, and I would like the text to remain white.

    The reason the text is not initially white is because when I hoover over the button it highlights the entire box with white–I would like to keep this functionality as well.

    Any help would be much appreciated, you can see it at workloud.wordpress.com

    Thanks!

    Hi there, to keep the button text from turning grey once visited, add the following CSS.

    #hero .call-to-action:visited {
        color: #fff;
    }

    On other thing I noticed is that you have hidden the footer credits. You are not allowed to hide the WordPress.com and theme footer credits per our Terms of Service (#11). See the Frequently Asked Questions on the Custom Design support page for more information.

    You are allowed to restyle the footer credits to better fit with your design as long as they remain readable. If you need help restyling the existing footer credits, let us know. Please remove the following from your Custom CSS.

    #colophon {
        visibility: hidden;
    }

    Hi, thanks I’ll make sure to get rid of that piece of code I will have my team delete it ASAP.

    As for your first response…This looks good except when I hover over the buttons it appears all white and I cannot see what I am hovering over, is there any way to change the color of the text when I am hovering over the button to a gray color? But once I’m not hovering over it it can hop back to white?
    Thanks!
    Beth

    Oops, I should have noticed that. Add the following which will make the text a medium grey on hover. You can adjust the color as you desire.

    #hero .call-to-action:hover {
        color: #777;
    }

    Thanks, that did the trick!
