    You created your WordPress.com account while signing up for Gravatar, so you’ll likely want to head back there…

    Why would someone setting up a blog want to go to the gravatar site?

    When I go to WordPress.com

    Please Verify Your Email Address
    In order to publish posts, please verify your email address by clicking the link in the confirmation email that we sent to (email visible only to moderators and staff).
    Resend confirmation email | Send to another email address

    Then it all repeats.

    To verify your email ID, please do login to your WordPress account, then copy paste the verification link from the email into the browser in which you are logged in. This should ideally fix the verification link issue. Let us know how it goes.
