Keeping domain name I purchased on wordpress.com when moving to wordpress.org

  Will I be able to keep the domain name I purchased (paid for an upgrade) for my WordPress.com account if I move my blog over to WordPress.org and host it on GoDaddy? I upgraded to a custom domain for $26.00 on May 24, 2012.

  The domain that I purchased was just my name.com – brandonvanhook.com.

  Your can direct your domain to your new hosting provider by changing your nameservers following this guide: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/domain-management/#update-nameservers
