Keeping gmail account after cancelling WordPress

  Hi, if I cancel the WordPress.com account and transfer the domain name to a different registrar can I keep the associated gmail email address?

  What is the process for doing that? Is it just a case of making sure the new provider has the correct DNS info. Can I continue to use the same login details? Is it billed separately to the WordPress hosting?

  If you mean the domain URL if you purchased one yes, its transferable.

  You used to be able to install WordPress on a service of your choice so if the account is active, you can get it on the new service. If it’s not cancelled.
