Keeping it Anonymous
-
I’m wondering if I can still choose to use the publicize option for FB if I want to keep my blog completely anonymous? Since you have to connect it with your FB profile, and not a FB blog page (which is also anonymous) I am not certain this is the best idea. When selecting the FB publicize optino, can you choose ONLY a FB page to connect to or does it have to be your original FB profile?
The point being, I’d like my readers to be able to easily share posts but I don’t want these posts being traced back to my personal FB page.
Thanks for any advice!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

But if you created or administer the FB page, they’ll trace you through that anyway. My advice is, don’t enable Publicize. Period. Share links manually and with discretion, because on FB everyone can always tell who put a link on a page, even if it says PageOwner they can find out it was Buffy Smith posting as PageOwner.
You need entirely separate accounts for your anonymous FB page and your personal profile. Different emails. Different names. Everything. That’s the only safe way.

That’s what I was thinking, too. Just to be on the safe side, I will continue to share posts manually and relax. Thank you so much for your thoughtful response, raincoaster! Much appreciated.
