keeping posts under certain menu headings

  I do not yet know how to keep posts under certain menu headings. Is that possible with free theme?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Thank you for replying. Also, update the blog is RobinHikes.wordpress.com not gonehikingesch.wordpress.com. Is it possible to write a blog post about for example, backpacking and have the post show up under the backpacking page in the menu? Or do all posts just show up on only one page. How are pages different from menu items?

  So, what you want is to categorize your posts:

  Organize Posts with Categories

  Which will let you create category pages:

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/category-pages/

  Which you can then link to in your menu using these instructions:

  Menus
