Keeping two blogs separate under one account

Set up another blog – davidcollinsfoto.wordpress.com (using Vision premium theme) -but when I comment on someone’s blog from it they see my username which is the same as my old blog – davidcollinsphoto.wordpress.com (using 2013 theme). How can I keep the two blogs separate.

Sure! All you need to do is to create a new user, assign it as an administrator of the appropriate blog, and then just remember to log out and sign in under the correct username when you want to work on the other blog. You can find more information about adding a user here.
The simplest way to do this is to sign out of WordPress.com and then go to:
Once you are there, sign up for the new username. Then log back into your other account, and assign this new username as an administrator of the blog you want under this name. So, from here on out, if you want all your posts to be authored under this new username, please log out and sign in from this username/password.

The suggestions don’t work for me. I set up another blog from dashboard for my account. Gave it the name davidcollinsfoto.wordpress.com and started adding content. When I try to follow your advice to create a new user WordPress says davidcollinsfoto not available as a username (because I have already claimed it I guess). I have now set up a separate email account that I could use for davidcollinsfoto username if I could use it. Would rather do that than have to set the blog up again with a new username and have to contact people who have commented or are following. Any thoughts on next steps? Thanks in advance.
