Keeps bringing me to payment page

  Hi there, I just created an account with WordPress to design my website but whenever I click on ‘create my site’ in the ‘my site’ page, it keeps bringing me to the payment plan package. I understand that there is a free basic version which I would like to use first to build my website before transitioning to a paid plan. Looking forward to your response. Thanks!

  You can create a free site here: https://wordpress.com/start/free/?ref=pricing-lp

  Select a domain for your site and you will see something like mysite.wordpress.com under “free” options. Select that and you are ready to go.
