Keeps saying forbidden error when updating options!

  I have the blog on my own webserver. Every time I try to update the options, it says FORBIDDEN! How can it be forbidden if I am the administrator, and logged in as the admin?

  What is the fix for this bug? It is annoying as it acts as a random number generator whether or not I have permission or not. Even logging out and logging back in has not worked!

  WordPress.com and wordpress.org run on different software. You are in the wrong forum. The correct one for bloggers not hosted by wordpress.com is http://wordpress.org/support :)

  I would suggest doing a search when you get over there. It’s been discussed many times over.

  Oh, and always read a post labeled “please read me first before posting” of course. :)

  Thanks! I did go there, and found so many issues in this area that I decided to can the entire software. Someone else is having the exact same issue that has not been resolved. :D
