Kerning problem

    I’m new to wordpress and have several blogs, but only one has gone haywire, with posts showing up in 2 columns, rather than my widgets in the second column (the right one) at http://bestsexwriting2008.wordpress.com – any suggestions? thanks! rachelkb at gmail.com

    Are you pasting from somewhere else on the web, or from Word or another program? That often grabs tags without grabbing the closing tags, so it sends things haywire. You do NOT want to do that. If you must copy text for some reason, copy it, paste it into Wordpad using PASTE SPECIAL (remove formatting) and then paste it. Yes, it removes the formatting. But it prevents things from getting messed up.

    The way to tell which particular post has done this is to set your front page to display one post only, then click Previous Post until you find where the error occurs. Edit that post and click on the Code tab to see all the tags and strip out or close the offending tag.
