Key search words for site

    I have replaced my site of the same name with a web site I created on WordPress, nwttlecreekinteriors.com.
    My old site had key words attached so that when people were looking for those items my site would come up on the 1st page. Since replacing my site with the new one, my site does not come up when you enter these seach items.
    My key words are custom bedspreads, custom draperies, furniture, interior design, floor coverings.

    How do I attach these key words to my site so that when people enter them in a search, my site will be displayed?

    Will you please provide an active link to the exact .wordpress.com subdomain blog that you are referring to?

    The bottom line here is that it is not possible to insert keyword meta tags on a free-hosted WordPress.com blogs on this multiuser blogging platform. here all blogs using the same theme are using the same underlying template Only Staff can access those files and edit as every edit affects all blogs wearing the same theme.

    Search engine spiders are programmed to look for keywords in the text ie. post content. If they find that keywords in meta keyword tags, titles, subtitles, tags, categories, etc. are not supported by the same keywords in the txt ie. blog post content they COUGH and such posts no longer appear at the top of the SERPs (search engine page results).

    Matt Cutts of Google clarified in 2009 that meta tag descriptions are no longer used by Google.
