  when you add the key words for searching, are they supposed to be seen by the public? Or are they invisible to assist w/the search of information?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You can display them in a widget:
  support.wordpress.com/widgets/tag-cloud-widget
  And they are also for making your posts searchable by users
  like here.
