  Hello,

  I am looking for a plugin about password/key access.
  The plugin has to have a start “portal” (like hypern.fvhmedia.dk) where you have to use a key to go to the page, so without a key, you can not access the website.

  It shall not only be one key that everyone can use, but many separated keys to a lot of visitors.

  So when you have the key, you can type it in a box and press enter, and then go to the real frontpage.

  I have tried to search for the plugin in many hours but without any luck, and therefore I hope you guys could help me out.

  Hi there, without a link to the site you need help with, we cannot give you an accurate answer.

  If you are talking about a site using the standalone WP software, you’ll want to post at the support forums at https://wordpress.org/support If you don’t have a username on the ORG forums you can register one on that page.

  Standalone WP and WordPressdotcom are different entities; more information about the differences can be found here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  If you are referring to a site here on WordPressdotcom and using the Business plan, which is the only plan which allows users to upload their own plugins, then please contact Staff directly here https://wordpress.com/help/contact as long as you are logged in with the username account that purchased the upgrade. They’ll be able to sort you out.

  It is hypern.fvhmedia.dk like i mentioned, but it has nothing to do with the website like that – I am just requesting/search/looking for a plugin and hope you guys could help me out finding a plugin who can the functions I wish.

  I have tried to contact serveral sites and tried serveral google-searches without any luck.

  There are two ways to install plugins on a WordPress site:

  1. Through the Business plan on WordPress.com sites
  2. On a self hosted WordPress.org site

  There is more information about the differences between the two in this guide:

  Your site is currently using the Free plan so you would need to upgrade in order to install custom plugins there.

  I’m not familiar with any specific portal plugins I’m afraid. On WordPress.com, it’s possible to password protect individual pages and posts without using a plugin:

  https://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/page-visibility/

  The other option would be to make your WordPress.com site private and invite Followers to view it:
