Kidblog in WordPress.com?

  I am a teacher and have a Kidblog with my students. I am also setting up a classroom website on wordpress.com.
  1) Can Kidblog usernames be used in WordPress?
  2) Can I embed the Kidblog login page into my wordpress.com page so that students can login directly from our class website? (I currently have a linked image that redirects students to Kidblog)

  Howdy!

  Kidblog usernames can’t be used on WordPress.com. If any of your students needed access to your site (either if it is a private site and required a login to view, or for comments, etc), they would need to create new accounts on WordPress.com.

  What you’re doing now—having the linked image—is the best way on WordPress.com. We limit the code allowed on our blogs for security and stability purposes.

  With students blogging, we do require students be either 13 years of age or older, or that we have written permission from their parents for them to have accounts on WordPress.com to stay in accordance with U.S. laws on child safety online.
