Killing/changing WordPress domain name?

  I set up a WordPress account for a silent auction event years ago and now it won’t let me kill that name and domain address and replace it with my personal one. Any ideas? I’ve already emptied and permanently deleted all pages, posts, comments, tags, etc. so it’s empty but I cannot kill/change the name for some reason.

  Hi @boyhowdy66,

  Only Admin has rights to change the site address. I don’t see any site linked to your account ‘boyhowdy66’.
  If you login through Admin account, you should be able to change the blog address by following the link below –
  https://en.support.wordpress.com/changing-blog-address/
