Kind of a newbie question.

    What is the best way to drive traffic to ones blog? I don’t want thousands of page views, just causual readers and commentors. You see I have no friends, and I would like to cultivate some virtual friends.

    If you do a quick search of the forums you’ll find that this question comes up about once per day. There are plenty of threads with the answers, so start by checking out what people have already said. A lot of contributors to those threads have blogs in the top 50,000 in the world, so they know what they’re talking about.

    As well: please link your name in the forums to your blog. That way, people can just click on your name to go to your blog. You set that under Profile on your dashboard.

    The poster may also want to review the stickies at the head of the forums as well since it appears he may have not done so since that question is answered in the FAQ one as well.
