Kindle format

I have discontinued my Amazon Kindle acct. but have 6 non-fiction stories. I still have them in Kindle FORMAT. Can I add them to my wordpress blog or do I need to convert them to text first? Also I want to add a PayPal button or donation block for them. Is that possible?

What you would ideally want to do is convert the Kindle Format (Mobipocket) to XML, which is the format that WordPress uses.
I found this Mobi to XML converter online but do not know its effectiveness. At worst, if you can convert the format to text, you’ll be able to manually add your stories to your site.
Regarding PayPal, it is indeed possible to add a PayPal and/or donation button to your site. Please take a look at the instructions on our support page on how to add the button.

Thanks Darnel; I would like to make the stories downloadable but for some modest payment only, whether in wordpress format or some other.
My thought was a ‘section or folder’ on my wordpress blog for that purpose. Is that doable and will I need to subscribe to a commercial account of one kind or another? Thanks again for your help!

We have a few options for monetizing content. If you want to add a full-blown shopping cart with digital downloads, you could do that. You would need a Business Plan.
