Koi theme: removing the sidebar and Comment box
-
Hi,
I am trying the Koi theme for my blog. Is there a way to get rid of the sidebar and Comment box. Please see the attached screenshot. I want to get rid of the areas marked in red.
Do I need CSS upgrade to achieve this?
If yes, can someone please let me know the custom CSS code for this?Cheers,

Unable to see any way to add attachment.
What I want to remove is the sidebar on the right which includes ‘Search’ textbox, ‘Recent Posts’, ‘Archives’ etc. and the “Leave a Reply” comment text box at the bottom of each page.

a) Yes, to remove the sidebar on this theme you need the Custom Design upgrade.
b) To remove the comment section, see this post of mine, esp. under “Faster way” and “Even faster”:

c) To show us an image, you upload it to your blog via Media > Add New, click Edit, copy its URL from the “File URL” field of the Save module, paste the URL here. -
Thanks justpi for your response.
On another blog “http://eventhra.wordpress.com/” I was trying the Matala theme. The same question for this theme – Do I need CSS upgrade get rid of the sidebar on the right (including ‘Recent Posts’, ‘Recent Comments’, ‘Archives’ etc.) ?

Yup.
If you’re looking for a theme with no sidebar, see this post of mine (under “Sidebar optional” and “Bottom and/or header only”):

For newer themes, check the Theme Showcase site:
