    Yes, you can take a backup of your website on your free account.
    The process is the same for free or paid accounts.

    Go to My Site → Settings and select the Export option in the Site Tools section at the bottom to download a copy of your blog’s content (database).

    Tak właśnie zrobiłam. Otrzymałam na @ plik .zip. Po kliknięciu
    zapisał się na komputerze. Po rozpakowaniu, mam plik XML. Czy to jest ta
    baza danych? Czy ten plik mam wgrać sobie na mojego hosta? na mój serwer?

    Hi Agnieszka,

    That’s what I did. I received the @ .zip file. After click he signed up on the computer. After unpacking, I have an XML file. Is this this one? database? Should I upload this file to my host? on my server?

    The .xml file contains an export of the content on agnesmaylife.wordpress.com and links to the images — they are not included in the .xml file but will be imported into the new site when the import is run.

    You should now be able to import the file into your site and it’s important the content remains in place on agnesmaylife.wordpress.com until the import has finished at the other end. If you aren’t sure how to import the .xml file, can you send a link to the site you are working on?

    Zrobiłam eksport z agnesmaylife.wordpress.com
    Zrobiłam import XML na agnesmaylife.pl

    Jednak zgubiła się część wpisów i zdjęć. Brak wpisów i zdjęć z 1,5 mesiąca. Poza tym wszystko gra ;) :)

    Hi Agnieszka, I’m seeing 5 pages of posts on your http://agnesmaylife.pl/ site right now. When I check https://agnesmaylife.wordpress.com/, I can see the same posts, so it looks like all the posts have imported.

    More information on participation in photos. No entries and photos from 1.5 people. He also plays everything

    I’m not sure I understand. Did some of the photos not import, and I’m only seeing one user on your WordPress.com site, you. Did you have additional authors?
