    This blog put the blog name on my ‘follow’ list and I received 50 emails notifying of this person’s blog posts throughout the night.
    I have changed my password and ‘unfollowed’ this blog.
    What’s going on?

    Hi there,

    You can’t get email notifications for a site without confirming it, so someone must have gained access to your account and followed it directly in the Reader.

    Besides changing your password, please also consider activating two-step authentication on your account.

    Also change the password on your email account and enable 2FA there, and make sure you always log out after accessing your account if anyone else has access to your computer.
