Hello, My name is Chase Brumett and I purchased All Boats Service Center in Bronston KY back in September of 2022. The previous owners had their website set up through you all. I am needng to transfer the domain to ARI. The previous owners have tried to transfer it, but can not figure out which email was used to set it up years ago with you all. So they have no way of getting me the transfer code. They are willing to help with this any way that they can as well. Can someone please email me or call me and explain what we need to do to get it transferred?

I purchased a business in the fall and the previous owners used WordPress for thier website. However they can not get the domain transferred. How do we go about doing this?

Please do not create duplicate threads. I’ve merged your other post into this one and will reply to you here.
The person that currently owns the domain needs to log into their WordPress.com account and initiate the transfer.
If they don’t remember what email they used, they can use the transaction IDs from charges on this account and use the Account Recovery form to prove ownership of the site, then WordPress.com support can help them get access from there. They can find that form here:

Fill out as much information as they have, including an email address where Support can get in touch. The transaction ID will be on their bank statement as
WordPressfollowed by a ten-digit letter/number code. They’ll look like this:WordPress XXXXXXXXXXYou can read more about what the account recovery process entails here:
