lack of customer support

    the lack of easy access to customer support at the very begining before even purchasing to ask questions is putting me off, going further, I would have thought it would have been possible to build a website (unpublished) and then when you have it how you like it, pay for it to go live.

    You can build a free site here and experiment all you like. If you want additional features/storage then you can upgrade it to a Pro plan. There is a 14 day refund window (96 hours in the case of domains).
