lack of support from WordPress
-
How do you contact WordPress directly for support?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
-
Set your cursor on your wordpress account gravatar at the top right hand corner of the page. Click on ‘Manage My Blogs’. Scroll down to bottom of page and under ‘Community’ click ‘Support’.
Middle of the page, right hand column, under ‘Hugs’ and a spiel, there is a link ‘Contact Support’ – click on it. This is the SUPPORT page. There are some useful suggestions to try but if none float your boat, click on ‘I didn’t find the right answer’. If your boat is still sinking, click on ‘I still didn’t find the right answer’. Carefully describe your problem.
I’ve never had any problems with no replies. At the most it takes two days to receive an answer and your responding Happiness Engineer is always top notch in problem solving and will stick with you like white on rice until your issue is resolved!!

Thanks for the above. I have tried this several times and, literally, the bottom line is ‘contact the community’ with no link to contacting anyone from WordPress.

Hello, thanks for your reply. My sites are up and running now and the problem seems to have been resolved.

there was an earlier thread about site display problems

The problem seems to have been with TalkTalk users. I wasn’t aware that WordPress closed their support over the weekend, hence not being able to contact them. Something to bear in mind in the future.
