landing page for my domain

  HI, I didn’t realize wordpress puts ads on the blogs? I prefer my illustration page to be first and blog be at the end. Can you make a different page the landing page for my domain? So its more professional?

  If you go to your Settings menu and choose Reading and select ‘Front page displays – a static page’. Then choose your Illustration page as that page from the pull down list.

  You can turn off ads by going into Store and purchasing ‘No Ads’.
