Landing page not working as suppossed.

  I accidentally deleted my original Home page and later restored it but it looks all messed up. And just like my About page, it displays an empty column on the left where the blog posts would be listed and that of course is wrong because it is a page WITHOUT blog posts, just other blocks because I wanted a separate posts page.

  you see? why on earth is it leaving an empty space? and I chose the HOME template when adding a page.
