  How can I have the WordPress Landing Page plugin on my WordPress.com website?

  Hi there!

  WordPress.com does not support plugins. If that is essential to your site, then you will want to look into using WordPress.org.

  More information about the differences between WordPress .com and .org can be found here:

  Your current theme, Responsive, has an option to display a Home template which allows you to focus the user’s attention on a featured callout, supported by three widget areas.

  Yes! Thank you so much! It was very helpful! I’m still hesitating about changing from .com to .org since I don’t have many technical skills on website creation.

  I will take a look to the link you sent me about my theme and hope I can work with what I have right now.

  One additional question. Is there any tutorial on how to move a site from .com to .org?

  I don’t have many technical skills on website creation.

  If you choose a host and use WordPress.org software, then your concern is not so much about “website creation” as it would be on website management and upkeep.

  There are thousands of themes available for WordPress.org, some more stable than other. And there are thousands of plugins for WordPress.org, also some more reliable than others. But if something goes wrong with your self-hosted site, then you are responsible to fix it. If you don’t have a lot of technical skills, then that process can be a bad headache and/or expensive.

  I looked at your site and noticed this link in your top navigation menu: http://www.iearncasheasy.com

  I’m not sure what your goals and intent are for your site, but I am advising you to read the Terms of Service for WordPress.com very carefully. It would not be efficient to spend lots of time making a site here only to have it suspended.

  If you violate ToS, then your site could/will be suspended. I’m just sayin’ but maybe you would be better off using WordPress.org.

  Ok, I will take a look at the procedure of migration and will decide if I do it or not based on your feedback.

  Thanks for the info regarding the ToS. The iearncasheasy.com is a site that I own as well. I took an Internet Marketing course and one of the bonus was the possibility of having the rights of that product “Easy Cash Webinar”. Anyways I will read very carefully the article Types of Blog that you sent me.
