language, gravatar, and appearance

  hi : I have 4 questions.

  First : I am a french user, and I don’t know how to get just one language on my blog : for the moment, there is a mix of french and english…

  Second : I tried many many times to change my gravatar, but in vain. I do everything that is told, but, at the end, nothing has changed. With the new version, I just have my gravatar, not my profile photo (avatar ?).

  Third : Why do my texts, on the front page, appear in strong characters, although when I want to edit that, everything seems exactly as I would like to ??

  Last : where can I choose the police ??

  1st question:
  WP.com use English as the basis language. But there’s a translation project available for the non English user. If you see there’s a mix between your language (French) & English than the translation project for your language may be not finished yet. Visit http://tranlate.wordpress.com for more details.

  2nd:
  As I know your Gravatar is indeed your profile picture, it’s same.

  3rd:
  Maybe you use the theme that behave like that (making your text shows up in strong characters), try changing the theme or edit CSS.
