Language issue – name of front page

Hello!
How can I change the language of my front page ‘Startseite’ into English? I tried both language settings options. I changed both, the blog’s language and the interface language but it still displays the German word ‘Startseite’ rather than the English one ‘Front Page’ or ‘Home Page’. Is there any way I can change this?

You need to edit the title of the Page.
Dashboard > Pages > All Pages
Hover over the title of the page Startseite and click the Edit button. Then change that page title on the top line and save. -
thank you so much for your reply. unfortunately it’s not working that way. I can only change the title which in my case is “a warm welcome” but it still says “Startseite” which I’m unable to change.

Hello –
The item on your front page which says “Startseite” is part of a site menu. So if you go into you menu settings.
You’ll need to manually change the label of that menu item from Startseite to what you want it to say in English.
