Language setting problems

  Hello,
  I started setting up my blog today. Since I live in Japan WordPress automatically supposed my language was Japanese (it isn’t) and I had a hard time setting back everything to English. A few options still show up in Japanese, like the automatic ‘ABOUT’ (which I fixed now) and the ‘category’ language and settings, which don’t seem to be able to change? I need everything to be in English. Could you help with this please? Thank you.

  Have you set both your Blog Language and Interface Language to English?

  Yes, I have set both to English. In the “writing” section the Default Post Category is in Japanese and I can’t get rid of that. It’s weird.
