Lapsed Domain Registration

    The domain for my website, daveterruso.com, lapsed, and was bought by some spam company. Now I’m not even able to log in to my WordPress blog to view the content. I want to move that content to my new website name, but I can’t access it as of now. Thanks for your help.

    Hi bobbypinker627,

    daveterruso.com was registered through another provider and has never been pointed to WordPress.com. Using WordPress with another host means you were using WordPress.org software.

    The domain is registered through GMO Internet and if you didn’t choose this company, daveterruso.com is now owned by someone else.

    I want to move that content to my new website name, but I can’t access it as of now.

    You could try contacting your host to see if they are able to provide you with a backup of content from that site.
