  I have a forwarding address set up from another web builder account to forward to my WordPress site; however after forwarding, the WordPress account opens in the lap-top version only. Is there a way to fix this? Thank you in advance.

  Hi there,

  Of what site are you speaking?

  If you’re using domain forwarding and masking to make your WordPress.com site appear as if it’s mapped to a custom domain, your site won’t work correctly. Among other things, doing this prevents a browser from correctly detecting the screen size of the device your site is being viewed on, so it will always show the desktop version of the site, regardless of screen size.

  The only way we support to have a WordPress.com site appear at a custom domain, is to properly map the domain here using the domain mapping upgrade included in our paid plans.
