Large xml file

  Hello, im trying to import a xml file from blogspot til wordpress, but it is 14,5 mb. Is there a tool i can use to split the file into smaller chunks?

  I also located this Coming From Blogger support doc that had this notation in it. https://en.support.wordpress.com/coming-from-blogger/

  Note: If your export file from Blogger is larger than 15 MB, staff can assist you with the import. Just contact us for assistance!

  Hi there,

  A 14.5mb file might still import, though the closer a file gets to the limit the more likely it becomes that it might fail.

  There are WXR splitters available that should do the trick, though:

  Hey everybody.

  I tried to import the file multiple times. And it is just saying” warning” and then “all imported, have fun”. But nothing has been imported.

  The WXR splitter is only for wordpress xml files :-/

  Is this for http://miniloveblog.wordpress.com/? I don’t see any attempted imports on that site at all.

  How many posts do you have on the Blogger site? Are there any spammy or low-quality comments you might be able to delete to bring down the size of the export file? Also make sure that you’re exporting the Content Backup file from Blogger and not the Template file, as the latter cannot be imported here.
