Larger Photos – white background problem
-
My earlier post disappeared, so let me ask this another way: If a reader clicks through to a photo I’ve posted in order to see it larger than my blog template defaults to on the blog pages, it sends to a separate webpage with the photo at the larger (uploaded) size, but over a blinding white background and justified in the upper left corner.
For those who want to click through to see them in higher quality, is there a straightforward way to present my photos in the larger size, in a page isolated from the blog post itself, and centered over another color via WordPress?
My blog is in wordpress.com and I’m using Modularity Lite Theme, btw.
Thanks! The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there !
When you insert an image, you need to select ‘Attachment Page’ instead of ‘Media File’ in the ‘Link To’ part of ‘Attachment Settings’
I made an arrow in this screenshot to help : http://snag.gy/TWxpC.jpg
Hope this helps !

Hi francisbob!
That is EXACTLY what I was looking for. Thanks very much, indeed!!
Big job ahead retro-assigning my photos in various posts, but so worth it.
Much appreciated.
