Larger pix within each blog?
-
I am loving my experience blogging on wordpress.com! Quick question… Is there any way to have more power over the size and placement of photos within my blog (not just the main pic of each blog)? I currently use the Personal theme but I am finding that I would rather have larger pictures and have less text. I thought that the Awesome or Traveler theme might be better for this but when I click preview it doesn’t transfer all of my images so I can’t see the difference.
I’m finding the thumbnail too small and the mosaic too random.
If there’s not a way to display pictures bigger, then can you suggest a better theme to change to?Any advice is SUPER appreciated. THANK YOU!

Hi there – There are two ways to address this. One is to play with the various options for laying out your images within posts and pages, that are available regardless of what theme you’re using. This includes all the various gallery/slideshow layouts:

http://en.support.wordpress.com/images/image-alignment/Looking at your blog, it looks like the images you’re uploading are rather small at full-size, so you might just try uploading bigger images.
The second way to address this is to try out themes that highlight your images on the front page by pulling them into sliders, mosaics, etc. Here are some examples:
