Larger thumbnail images
-
On my PORTFOLIO page would anyone know how to make the thumbnail images quite a bit bigger? Thanks!!!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I see a portfolio page at http://paulpizzi.com/portfolio-2/
Open that page for editing in your blog dashboard.
Click the Text tab at the top right of the edit area:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/editors/#text-editorYou will see a gallery shortcode that looks like this:
[gallery type="rectangular" ids="686,740,661,718,662,667,666,665,673,690,670,674,685,678,683,679,672,660,682,681,680"]Carefully, add the following right before the last “]”
size="medium"Save changes and view the page.
If you want even bigger images, repeat the same steps except use “large” instead of “medium.”

I inserted the code but the thumnbnails didn’t change size -what would I put for extra large?
-
You added “largest” but it has to be “large” spelled exactly the right way.

I tried clearing my cache and still no luck. Is it because I have the CSS editor that might be over riding the HTML? Thank you for your help by the way!

Hm, maybe I was wrong and it’s something specific to the theme. I see that you’re using a premium theme: Portfolio. I’ll try testing a bit more and then I will post back here with what I find out.

I tested, and it worked like a charm on my blog. Maybe it’s because of the number of columns, can you try adding columns=”1″ to the gallery shortcode too?
-
It looks like the thumbnails got bigger but there are till 3 columns -one column would be cool with bigger pics
-
Aha! Columns was the thing I was missing before then. :)
Did you already try columns=”1″ in the shortcode?
