Last post not showing

  evey now and then I create a new post and it doesn’t show up on the main page. I can see it as published in the manage Posts and the archives but doesn’t show as the latest post.

  This happened again last night. My blog is artandmylife.wordpress.com and the latest post should be “Shock and Awe”.

  I see the post at the top of your blog. Trying clearing your browser cache (instructions are in the FAQ)

  I fixed it by unpublishing it then republishing it again. Thx though (Cache clearing didn’t work0

  I am having the same problem. My new post shows up in second place. I have cleared cache and unpublished and republished. My blog is winiann.wordpress.com/ and the post is Plants In Your Home

  Have you (inadvertently) made the first post a sticky?

  (And you may want to link your user name to your wordpress.COM blog. Go into your dashboard -> users -> your profile -> then scroll down to ‘contact info’. In the spot where it says ‘website’ fill in the address of your blog and save the changes.
  Now… when you comment here and on other blogs, your name will link to your blog. If you do this before you post your request for help, it will allow forum volunteers to be able to help you quicker since they won’t have to ask you for a link and wait until you come back to post one.)

  Thank you vivianpaige. The sticky was the problem. I will learn to use this program if I keep on long enough.
  I also made the change you suggested in my profile.
