Just one point: if you are not nice with wordpress, go to blogger or whatever else, and be happy. Maybe, before, google around about the differences between java and javascript, couse it seems to me you are making some confusion, despite your 10 years experience in web site development.
This said, I am trying to include the code generated here: http://www.last.fm/widgets/
but every times in the text widget make some changes to the html I paste into it.
Any idea? I think that the problem is that there is some javascript call in the code, but maybe not… -
If you’re using the one for “wordpress”, it has flash in it. That’s stripped just like javascript and iframes.

No javascript in it (I just did a search of the code in a text editor to confirm) but it does contain *flash*. And that’s what is being stripped out.

Fair enough. I am sure wordpress developers will allow us to embed last.fm widgets in our blogs very soon, it is a very relevant web app, they cannot miss it for too long :)
In the meantime, I could try other ways to share music taste with my readers.

I actually sent a feedback to last.fm forum about this widget, so far no answer yet. I’m hoping it will be added as well.
On the contrary, I think http://www.myflashfetish.com/ also has a nice widget, I’m using it but I only put a direct link to the player. Try it.
