Lately, why freezes wordpress and become sluggish

    Has there been any changes in the functions of WordPress, the last few weeks?

    For some reason, I have to clear cookies and cache very often now, in order for wordpress to work steady. I have not needed to do that before, only occasionally, and I do not have that problem on any other sites?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi Louis,

    Recently we did have some server maintenance that was causing some hiccups. It shouldn’t be this way moving forward.

    One thing to make sure is that you are using the latest version of your browser:

    http://browsehappy.com

    Hi, and thanks!

    To be able to give you a truthful answer, I will have to test my site for a few days.

    But for now, I can tell you that I have the latest versions of my browsers, both Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome, and still – as far as I know – I still have issues like those I explained.

    But I will come back in a few days when I know more. I have been on a short vacation, and not been using my my computer for a couple of days.

    Ok, I noticed already today that the problem I have is still going on.
    Yesterday, after not been using my computer for several days, I had no problem with my blogg. But today I couldn’t get to the view where I list blogs that I follow. Not without clearing cache again. After I have done that, it works as usual … for a while?

    I don’t know what I should call those pages that’s mostly have this problem? It’s NOT the usual Adminpanel! It’s where I can se my trofées, and links to blogs I follow? It has blue text, stripes and buttons. Do you understand what I mean?
    That’s the pageviews where I find this problem most common?

    I have never needed to clear cache and cookies several times a day before? Wonder why it´s like that now? As I told you, I have no problems with other websites?
    It’s like WordPress bunkers up more now than before, or doing it different?

    While I was writing this I noticed that I have problem – again – with the frontpage of my blog. I got problems open it after clearing cookies?
    Still, I only have problem with wordpress, not with any other website?

    Hi Louise,

    It looks like there may be an issue with your computer as I haven’t seen any reports of this from other users.

    Can you please provide me a little more info?

    -You stated:

    What is the actually issue? Is it just slow? Is it not loading? Can you take a screenshot of the issue and upload it to your Media > Library page?

    -Can you disable any browser extensions and see if that helps?

    -Can you try accessing your WordPress.com site/Dashboard on another computer? Does that help? This is to see if it’s independent to just your computer/setup.

    -Can you try accessing your WordPress.com site/Dashboard in another location? Like at work, or in a coffeeshop? This is to see if it’s a problem with your ISP.

    Ok!
    I understand that this is difficult. I will try to test all that you recommend.

    As it seem right now there is no rule to how it works. First it may seem as it’s not loading. But if I get access to the page through another path, it suddenly works when I go back and try it again?

    I will test my site at work later this week, if I have time …
