Latest blog post not showing up on WP Reader

    This is the 7th time I am encountering the same problem over the course of 6 months. The reader is not showing my recent post after it gets published. It seriously affects my traffic. This is frustrating. Please do something to fix it and not be a recurring problem.

    It’s really sad to see a post I worked hard on getting affected because it cannot pop up on the reader. This is happening so much that it is frustrating.

    I can see the post in the Reader:

    The posts may not appear in the Reader immediately after they are published, there’s usually some delay. When you say you do not see the post in the Reader, where and how exactly are you searching for it?

    I can see the post on my site (feed).

    However, I cannot see it on the feed where my followed sites pop up (I checked, I am following myself).

    Since I posted 15h ago (according to this: https://tinyurl.com/y43w3er5), it should appear between the first two posts.

    It clearly shows the phrase, “updated 4 days ago,” when I have clearly posted yesterday.

    I have reset the feed on your site, and I now see your most recent post in the Reader as expected.

    It can be the case that posts in the Reader can get stuck from time to time, and may not appear right away in your feed, but they do appear in the Reader for others, as fresatomica noted above.

    If you spot this issue again please let us know and we can take a closer look and update the cache for your feed if need be, thanks!

    Hello.

    Thanks for fixing it. However, is there any way to not have this inconvenience in the future? It keeps happening now and then and seriously hurts my traffic.

    We understand this is a pretty frustrating issue. We’ve reported it to the developers again and noted how many times you’ve encountered it and reached out now.

    Unfortunately we can’t provide any alternative solutions at this time or a time frame of when they might be able to find a resolution. Please let us know if/when it occurs again though so we can surface it to our development team to take a look at.
