Latest comments no longer showed in widget bar

  Suddenly latest comments are not getting any icons on the right side of the theme, it used to show the latest five comments in a normal way, for several years.
  I tried a lot, changed to show the latest seven, didnt help, changed THEME , didnt help, and I tested this blog with a fresh installed browser, chrome, but same problem as with firefox.
  Therefore I can see nomeaning with deleting cookies or cache.
  I can see that the comments remain when I check all comments in every different ways, so its only those icons (links) for some latest comments that regret to show up.
  Did you happen to get some evil ghosts into the system who dont like comments?

  Hi Hans,

  I see the latest comments on your posts in the Recent Comments Widget in your sidebar. Right now, you have the widget set to display only the comments from your posts, so comments on your pages or media won’t appear there.

  If there are specific comments that don’t appear in the widget, can you please send me a link to those? That will help me investigate this for you.

  Yes.. there are separate settings for the theme.. -thx.
