latest edition did not save

  i clicked on something i was editing and so the last one that saved was not my last edition, and i tried to look for it under previous editions and it came out like in an unlegible form. is it possible to get to the edition that has the most pictures instead of the one with a few pictures.thank you for your prompt consideration of this request.
