latest news on sidebar, but not on main page?

  Hi there,

  Is it possible to display posts on the right hand side sidebar but not in the main body? For example, I want a latest news section on the right where I can post latest news, but I do not want them to appear on the homepage as they usually do.

  Is this possible?

  You can just set a static page as your front page if you want, and use the Recent Posts widget to display in your sidebar. Otherwise, you cannot do it with a WordPress.com blog. Note that setting a static page as your front page will slaughter your standing with search engines.
