  How do I get my latest post to be at the top when someone opens my blog>

  That first post is a “Featured post” that is set as a sticky. Many people use that as a place where they write an introduction about their site as it will always display first. All other posts should appear underneath it with the newest first.

  If you want to move your first post back to the bottom then open up the post in the editor and click on “published x days ago” on the left and untick “stick to the front page”. More info about your theme here:-
