Latest post not in followers reader

My latest post was posted more than 3 hours ago but has not appeared in my followers reader. A few friends who are followers told me this and they had to come onto my blog to see this post as they thought it was odd i hadn’t posted as usual. I also have a random ‘like’ so i assume the post has appeared in the Topics, just not in the followers reader. I know there are problems with the Topics reader but i assumed all was ok with the followers reader. Is this a general problem or is mine just broke??
